July summary

it's been almost a month since i last updated this blog.

moi bad.

time seems to pass by pretty fast in July, and in 20 more days, our singaporean comrades will be leaving here for home/Taipei.

here's a summary of some events in July:

2 July: Had our first taste of Alaskan crab. Thanks to Ditty!
4 July: Celebrated America's Independence day (Hotel's Veteran's week)
5 July: Cooking session with Roxy. yummyumm^.^
17 July: Selle's Birthday
19 July: 1st 4-wheelers ride with Meiyin to Cynthia's place.
20 July: Kayaking @ moonlake with Cynthia + Raspbery picking
21 July: Eunice's Birthday
23 July: I saw my first rainbow in Alaska. The fullest one too! =D
25 July: Xmas in July week! yay prezzie exchange!
28 July: April's post-birthday celebration +
Tubing at moonlake. Wheee it was FUN!
31 July: Selle, Shiwen & MeiYin went mud-bogging in Levi/Shannon's Jeep.

In addition, we had a number of boozing session; took some housekeeping photos; online shopped; got hooked with more tv (e.g. GREEK). I particularly like a reality show called: The X-Factor.(*see below) Where a pair of ex-es are put together inside a romantic honeymoon suite not knowing that their current partners are spying on them. Surprisingly, or not, almost all of them crossed the border wth their ex. Some ended breaking up with their current partners but some had 2nd chance. None of them actually got back with their ex though.

As for the whole trailer, Eunice recieved her #3 (or is it #4?) parcel containing birthday cards, kinder brenuo, asian paste (i.e for making pjneapple rice, hainan chicken rice etc) and lotsa of korean instant noodles! Shiwen says she the luckiest Eunice Goh in the whole wide whole. Indeed.

Both of them almost become our travelmate to the rest of ALaska and USA. But the trouble of deferring, getting parents endorsement, changing the air-tix etc etc... is too much of a barrier for them.. They are now happily searching on cool boutique hotel in Taipei for they 2 days stayover, with the budget I have for 7-10 days!
Selle and Shiwen is v keen on HongKong this dec, I'm not sure though. I'm more keen in Bangkok, so is Eunice. I hope w really get to travel again soon!

Christina got her VS parcel ytd. Took them only 7 days to ship. Makes me wana order too. But must buy at least USD$100 to get free shipping. No budget lei..

And it's 12.30am 2 Aug Thur in Alaska now as I'm typing this post. I should stop. needa wake up at 7.15am to start work at 8am. Will post some photos up during my coming off-day, which is... this Sat!

Oh yeah, btw ytd was special to cos after so long, i finally recieved my first letter from the mail box. From my family! Thanks for the photos and drawings dearies! *muuuacks! But you almost scared me with selle's big face lei. Haa.

Hey where are my friend's ehz.. =(
